Description
Roma Business Advocacy & Policy Lab will strengthen entrepreneurship policies in Slovakia, Czechia, and Hungary through comparative research, policy roundtables, and a regional roadmap. The project aims to enhance access to finance, business support services, and regulatory frameworks for Roma entrepreneurs. It also seeks to address the absence of inclusive entrepreneurship initiatives and dedicated advocacy for SMEs led by Roma and other disadvantaged groups in the region.
The project´s activities will focus on delivering evidence-based policy recommendations, facilitating structured dialogue among Roma entrepreneurs’ representatives, business associations, policymakers, and other stakeholders, and promoting cross-border cooperation to advance inclusive economic development.
The project is led by the Roma Entrepreneurship Development Initiative Slovakia (Rómska iniciatíva pre rozvoj podnikania, n.o.).
REDI is implementing the project in partnership with Uccu Roma Informális Okatási Alapítvány (Uccu Roma Informal Educational Foundation) from Hungary and Romani hub, z. s. from the Czech Republic.
Objectives
The project´s objectives are to improve the environment for inclusive entrepreneurship in the participating V4 countries by addressing economic challenges and enhancing the ecosystem for businesses, aspiring entrepreneurs and social enterprises through joint lobbying, shared policy solutions and the exchange of best practices.
