Description
The program is designed for young Roma who wish to gain practical experience and develop professionally by working with the REDI (Roma Entrepreneurship Development Initiative) on the ground and in collaboration with local communities.
The internship will take place within our activities in Skopje and will include fieldwork with the community, as well as support for project activities.
The internship is paid, in accordance with applicable legal regulations and the organization’s budget.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing contact with young people from the Roma community and promoting the Association’s activities;
- Assisting in the organization and implementation of local activities and events;
- Supporting the dissemination of information and directing the community toward available opportunities (training, employment, entrepreneurship support, etc.);
- Distributing informational and promotional materials;
- Maintaining daily and weekly records of completed activities;
- Performing other tasks related to the program as assigned by the mentor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum completed secondary education;
- Advantage: ongoing or completed studies in fields such as economics, public policy, social work, human rights, management, or similar;
- Basic knowledge of English;
- Familiarity with the Roma community and culture – Romani language speakers have an advantage;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Motivation for personal and professional development and engagement in social change.

- Initiative, responsibility, adaptability, results- and improvement-oriented, respect for diversity, integrity, and a desire to work with and for the community.
Selection criteria:
Candidates will be selected through a competitive process based on suitability, motivation, and previous experience. Selected candidates will be invited for an interview.
