This project, proposed by REDI, aims to promote the effective implementation of Objective 5 from the new EU Strategic Framework for Roma in Romania and Bulgaria, through a set of activities involving but not limited to education and awareness raising, monitoring and data collection, and building the capacity of key stakeholders. The project aims to support Roma economic inclusion, through activities that aim to address the systemic  and systhematic marginalization and exclusion of Roma, which is consistent with the objective of the Call:  “to support a comprehensive and intersectional approach and specific actions to prevent and fight against  intolerance, racism, xenophobia, and discrimination, in particular on grounds of racial or ethnic origin,  colour, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, including when this manifests in the form of  antigypsism, antisemitism, anti-Muslim hatred, Afrophobia and LGBTIQ phobia, offline and online.”  More particularly, the project addresses Thematic priority 1, “Fighting against intolerance, racism, xenophobia, discrimination, hate speech and hate crimes,” aiming to directly support the capacities of key stakeholders in the two countries targeted by the project – Romania and Bulgaria, for implementation of the EU Roma strategic framework on equality, inclusion and participation.
